Patrick Washington

Director of Admissions and Recruitment

Pat Washington is thrilled to be joining the Buffalo Prep family as the Director of Admissions and Recruitment. With a genuine passion for education and a deep-rooted love for his community, Pat served as the Assistant Director of Admissions at his alma mater, St. Joseph Collegiate Academy, where he played an instrumental role in shaping the future of young minds. Prior to his work at SJCI, Pat was an Admissions Officer for Gannon University in Erie, PA where he met his wife Kathleen and started a family. He is the proud father of three girls: Arianna, Mariah and Lily.

Born and raised in Buffalo, Pat’s unwavering commitment to his city is evident in all aspects of his life, so much so, that his family moved to Buffalo in the summer of 2019. An avid sports enthusiast, he coaches basketball at his alma mater, St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute and is a lifelong fan of the Bills and Sabres. Beyond the world of sports, Pat’s heart belongs to his family. A devoted husband and father, he cherishes every moment spent with his wife and daughters.

In his “quieter” moments, you’ll find Pat indulging in some of his favorite hobbies—wrestling and playing with his daughters, watching his favorite sports teams and singing his daughters favorite Disney classics.

In the professional realm, Pat’s new role as the Director of Admissions and Recruitment for Buffalo Prep underscores his commitment to education and shaping the paths of young students. With a keen eye for potential and a genuine interest in their growth, he is excited to play a role in guiding families through the admissions process and helping them envision their academic futures.
