Buffalo Prep’s College Graduation Rates Far Surpass National Average

BUFFALO, N.Y., September 2, 2021—– Buffalo Prep, which provides talented, underrepresented youth access to and preparation for college preparatory high schools and higher education, graduates 92% of its alumni with a bachelor’s degree, or they are currently enrolled to obtain one.

Buffalo Prep Launches New Program at The Belle Center, Appoints First Alumni Board President

BUFFALO, N.Y., July 15, 2021—– Buffalo Prep, which provides talented, underrepresented youth access to and preparation for college preparatory high schools and higher education, hosted a celebration for the opening of its newest program, Prep Scholars Academy, on Wednesday, July 14 at The Belle Center.  Prep Scholars Academy is a community-based summer enrichment program for middle school students seeking to succeed in their academics and pursue a college education.

M&T Bank Gives $180,000 to Buffalo Prep to Help Students Access Educational Support Services, Address Opportunity Gaps Exacerbated by the Pandemic

As the pandemic widens opportunity gaps for students in underserved communities, M&T’s critical financial support will help bridge the gap through expanded access to educational programs that empower students to achieve academic success.

Community steps up to support racial and educational equity

BUFFALO, N.Y., Aug. 14, 2020 – Buffalo Prep has been awarded more than $1.26 million from local foundations and organizations since March 2020.  The largest one-time gift in the history of Buffalo Prep’s 31-year existence was given by KeyBank, in partnership with the First Niagara Foundation, in the amount of $750,000.
