Buffalo Prep and Crowley Webb Call on Local Organizations to Participate in Survey to Help Support the Growth of Realizing Equity, Access, Diversity, and Inclusion (READI) Program
The nonprofit’s internationally recognized READI program is designed to provide the tools necessary to cultivate diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces across Western New York
BUFFALO, NY, May 21, 2024 – Buffalo Prep, an organization dedicated to educational and racial equity for academically ambitious youth of color, announced today it has teamed up with Crowley Webb, the leading full-service marketing communications agency in Buffalo, NY, to create a survey in support of the nonprofit’s internationally recognized Realizing Equity, Access, Diversity, and Inclusion (READI) program. The survey, which is aimed at the program’s audience of local companies, schools, organizations and networking groups, is now live and will measure participants’ motivation and interest in racial equity–focused educational programs to ultimately help enhance the READI program’s reach and impact.
“READI was designed to facilitate meaningful discussions and action plans while furthering the understanding of just how important and crucial programs like READI are to our community,” said Patti Stephen, president, Buffalo Prep. “We’ve had an incredible experience working with local organizations, including Crowley Webb, through the READI program so far, and we look forward to expanding the program to ensure that Western New York works to continuously strengthen and maintain an inclusive and equitable culture.”
Founded in 2020, the READI program is a comprehensive series of interactive workshops, trainings and presentations that not only educates the community but empowers local organizations by providing the necessary tools to cultivate a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace while encouraging the implementation of actionable strategies that promote fairness and inclusivity.
Throughout the 10-minute survey, participants will be asked questions related to their preference in the various tiers of the program (i.e., full-day summit, monthly workshops, etc.) and their preference of in-person or virtual sessions, workshop content, pricing and more. Past READI program workshops have featured topic including “Historical Aspects of Systemic Racism,” “Recognizing and Addressing Microaggressions” and “Engaging in Active Antiracism.”
“Buffalo Prep is a longtime partner of Crowley Webb, and we recognize the profound impact of the organization’s programming,” said Andrea Berki-Nnuji, senior vice president, analytics, Crowley Webb. “By working together to create this survey, we look to raise awareness of the READI program while preparing Buffalo Prep with the knowledge to accommodate even more organizations and meet their needs and expectations.”
